We want every order to be smooth and stress-free. The details below explain when returns are accepted, how to start a return (RMA), who pays for what, timelines, fees, and exceptions. This policy applies to all purchases from The Rich Nest unless a product page states otherwise.
Processing time: Orders are processed within 1–2 business days.
Cancel within 4 days (pre-shipment): Free, if the order has not shipped.
After 4 days (pre-shipment): A 3% cancellation fee may apply to cover payment processing and admin costs.
After shipment: Orders cannot be canceled. You may request a return per Section 3.
Manufacturer delays / backorders: Lead times are estimates. If you’ve agreed to wait and later cancel before shipment, a 3% cancellation fee may apply.
Return window: You may request a return within 30 days of delivery.
Condition: Items must be new, unused, uninstalled, and in original packaging with all accessories.
Authorization required (RMA): All returns must have a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) before shipping back. Unauthorized returns will be refused.
Who pays return shipping:
Buyer’s remorse / not needed / ordered wrong item: Customer pays return shipping.
Defective, damaged, or incorrect item: We’ll cover return shipping or provide a remedy per Sections 4–5.
Restocking fee:
Standard restocking 20% for eligible non-defective returns.
Up to 35% may apply for certain brands and large freight items (covers original outbound shipping, payment fees, repackaging, and inspection). If a higher fee applies, we’ll disclose it on the RMA.
Original shipping charges: Non-refundable unless the return is due to our error or a confirmed defect.
Email joshua@richnests.com within 30 days of delivery with your order number, reason, and photos (if applicable).
We’ll reply with RMA instructions, the return address (often the manufacturer’s warehouse), and any labels.
Package securely in original boxes with all materials.
Ship with tracking and insurance. You’re responsible for loss/damage if you arrange the carrier for buyer’s-remorse returns.
Once received and inspected, we’ll process your refund (see Section 7).
Do not return items to our office or ship anything without an RMA—those shipments will be refused.
To protect you and speed up resolutions:
At delivery (required):
Count all pieces and compare with the bill of lading.
Inspect packaging for dents, tears, crushed corners.
Note any damage or shortage on the delivery receipt before signing (be specific).
If damage looks severe, request to open and inspect before signing (if driver permits).
Take photos of the packaging and the product.
Concealed damage (after delivery):
Email joshua@richnests.com within 24 hours with photos of the packaging and the item.
Save all packaging until the claim is resolved.
Do not return or refuse additional delivery attempts without written authorization.
Refusing delivery:
If freight is obviously damaged beyond use, you may refuse the affected item(s) and note the reason on the receipt.
Refusals for reasons other than damage or our shipping error may incur restocking (up to 35%) plus round-trip freight.
Wrong item shipped / DOA / manufacturer defect: We will repair, replace, or accept a return at no cost to you in line with the manufacturer’s policies.
Contact joshua@richnests.com within 7 days of delivery (24 hours for freight damage) with photos/video and your order number.
Keep packaging until the case is resolved. We’ll coordinate next steps (parts, exchange, or return).
If you want a different model or configuration, request an exchange via RMA within 30 days.
For buyer’s-remorse exchanges, return shipping and any difference in price apply.
Exchanges follow the same condition and restocking rules as returns.
After your return arrives and passes inspection (typically 3–5 business days from delivery to the warehouse), we’ll issue a refund to the original payment method.
Banks/payment processors may take an additional 3–10 business days to post the credit.
Deductions: Any applicable restocking fee, non-refundable outbound shipping, and return shipping (if customer-paid) will be deducted from the refund.
Custom or made-to-order products (including items built to your specifications or requiring your signed approval).
Installed, used, modified, or damaged items.
Items without original packaging, missing accessories, or not in resellable condition.
Replacement parts and sauna wood (where applicable).
Sale / clearance items marked Final Sale on the product page.
Report missing boxes or components within 7 calendar days of delivery at joshua@richnests.com with photos of what was received. Claims after 7 days may not qualify for replacement.
If a carrier cannot complete delivery due to restricted access, missed appointments, or wrong address, you may be responsible for re-delivery, storage, address-change, or terminal pick-up fees. Please tell us about gates, narrow roads, or special access needs before shipping.

We strive for accuracy but pricing/availability errors may occur. We may cancel orders impacted by errors and will notify you; you can repurchase at the correct price. We may also cancel if an item becomes unavailable.
Coupons are offered at our discretion and valid only for the recipient/promotion intended. Unauthorized, expired, or misused codes may result in order cancellation or price adjustment. Contact us if you believe a code was rejected in error.
Most products include a manufacturer’s warranty. We’ll assist with documentation and introductions so you can receive support directly from the manufacturer if needed. Warranty terms vary by brand.
